In a recent blog written by General Motors’ writers, we learned that the next generation of full-size pickup trucks are ahead of time – apparently they have been pushed forward to the fall of 2018. The next-generation models will include the Chevrolet Tahoe and GMC Yukon. They will be much like Ford’s aluminum bodied F-150 and will be built on a lightweight platform, known as T1XX. The new SUV’s will not hit the market until a few years after the 2015 F-150 will be released but the amazing thing is that some dealers have already begun accepting order this week.
