Next GMC Sierra Denali Features New Magnetic Ride Control

The latest news in GMC technology surrounds the idea of Magnetic Ride Control – the GMC Sierra Denali will receive this new development in the 2015 model year. This new concept involves attaching sensors to the vehicle that can read the road 1,000 times per second that read and apply these notions to the truck settings in as little as five milliseconds. This information enables the truck to provide a comfortable ride. Although this technology may not be new to the automotive industry, it is new for GMC and for the pick-up truck segment. This technology was in fact licensed by Ferrari and has been modified for big haulers. Jeff Like, Executive Chief Engineer, commented, “With Magnetic Ride Control, the 2015 GMC Sierra Denali delivers a smoother, more confident driving experience without sacrificing the capabilities customers expect from a GMC truck. The responsiveness of the system makes this full-size truck feel and drive like a luxury vehicle – and on that’s more comfortable on long trips, especially when trailering.”
