General Motors recently announced that it will offer special discounts on new vehicles to educational institution employees. This special promotion is part of General Motors’ Educator Discount Program. GM is stating that in order to be eligible, the individual must be currently employed at a public or private school or university or college. Linda Stouffer, manager of Vehicle Purchase Programs, said, “GM values the work our educators and support staff are doing across the county to create a strong, responsible workforce for the future. The GM Educator Discount is our way of showing our support and appreciation for everyone in the education community.” This discount program will be effective between now and January 2, 2015.
